We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded ‘Investors in People’ Gold Status on our very first attempt. Joining a select number of UK companies, the announcement comes after an assessment by Investors in People Wales, and is in recognition of the exceptional management of LDF employees - just 7% of accredited businesses achieve the Gold status overall.
Investors in People nationally recognise the importance of nurturing talent and maintaining a motivated and positive working environment, and we have been commended on the high level of employee development. Of the 25 members of the management team, 22 have progressed from junior roles within the business.
The process looked at all aspects of the business and evaluated LDF’s corporate social responsibility, management techniques and reward policies in order to reach the gold status. In particular the report issued after the assessment praised our open plan working, the approachable senior management, and the businesses dedicated approach to its learning culture.
