The Flintshire Business Awards now into its 9th year rewards a host of local businesses for their success and achievements within the Flintshire community.
LDF were privileged to attend the gala dinner and awards ceremony, held at Soughton Hall, where we were awarded the Business of the Year award - over 50 employees.
The award recognises a business’s contribution to the local community, as well as their employee engagement. Our volunteering activities have supported a number of Flintshire Charities including Mold Food Bank, North Clwyd Animal Rescue, Barrowmore and Chester’s Aid for the Homeless (CATH). We have also selected Wales Air Ambulance as our chosen charity for 2015/2016 with a percentage of our profits allocated to the charity at the end of the year.
Our employees are an integral part of our business, and nurturing their development will benefit towards improved customer service. In 2014, we launched a new development programme, P.R.O.U.D that focusses on areas Pride, Respect, Ownership, Unity and Delivering. This continual programme has become part of our business culture and is something we will continue to develop.
The Flintshire Business Award will be the second award we have won this month, having also been crowned Top Professions Market Funder at the Leasing World Awards.
