White Oak UK (formerly LDF) has appointed Paul Roberts as its Head of Specialist Sales.

Roberts will be responsible for a developing a new team of innovative sales personnel who will assist with the continued expansion and growth of the business, both augmenting the existing field-based sales division and increasing the focus on larger deal sizes within the SME market.

Paul said, “I’m delighted to join White Oak UK. With over 25 years’ experience in the finance and leasing industry, amassed across a variety of senior and strategic leadership roles, Paul joins White Oak UK from Lombard where he established and led a national business development team, as Head of Business Development and Specialist Sectors, with a keen focus on new business and existing client support.

White Oak UK, who rebranded from LDF earlier this month, provided over £511million in funding to businesses last year, they also broke £1billion on their own book in 2018 since its launch 4 years prior. Additionally, their focus on simple, unbureaucratic business finance solutions continues to gain significant momentum.

Having communicated a strong commitment to retaining a ‘business as usual’ stance for customers, they have also made no secret of their appetite for growth as part of White Oak, which is set to include more investment and the introduction of new finance solutions.
