We're on the lookout for a talented Salesforce Developer to join our busy software engineering team in Ewloe, near Chester.

Role & Key Responsibilities
Work as part of the software engineering team to develop functionality within the Salesforce platform, whilst assisting with the integration of bespoke applications.
Propose technical solutions which can be achieved through either Salesforce configuration Salesforce development or a combination of both.
Be responsible for aligning Salesforce development with the WHITE OAK UK Software development lifecycle, including deployment, peer review and quality assurance.
Work closely with the product owners, development teams, data team and release management to help coordinate Salesforce and related projects from inception through production support, ensuring collaboration, communication and data integrity.
Fully understand, support and manage Salesforce.com Sales Cloud processes and applications and any future adoption from the salesforce cloud offering.
Liaise with training to help develop material for training plans for new users and on-going training sessions.
Manage the day to day relationship with salesforce and maximise the benefit from the Premier Support package.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Salesforce.com releases, technologies, applications, and integrations.
Evaluate Salesforce.com AppExchange products.
Manage standard and custom objects configurations, such as pages, fields, formulas and ensure consistency across the group.
Administration of Salesforce Mobile and interfaces to add-on and external tools
Work with the data and analytics team to develop / coordinate the development of analytical reports / dashboards.
Act as the point of contact within the support team to perform all duties relating to system administration
Maintain system security, including user accounts, passwords and access.
Working with the data and analytics team take responsibility for data updates, including mass updates, deletes and extracts in addition to regular de-duping and data clean up.
Working with the release team ensure all changes comply with Change Management Process.
Manage Activity Management functionality.
Content and folder management.
Core Skills and Knowledge
Technical experience of the use of Apex programming language to develop customizations for salesforce.com
Experience of building bespoke Visualforce pages
Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented sale-driven environment
Time management, ability to multitask, and propensity to handle urgent interrupts with poise and professionalism
Business acumen including a good sense of how the Salesforce CRM application can be utilized to improve business processes and the bottom line
Strong knowledge of data management, including solid understanding of Salesforce.com data model, data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleansing, and security.
Helpful, but not essential
Previous experience of C# would be beneficial but not required.
Proficiency in use of Eclipse as an IDE.
Experience of GIT, or similar source control system
Previous experience of working as part of an Agile project.
Bachelor’s degree and Salesforce Administrator/Developer Certification preferred
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com platform out-of-the-box functionality.
Experience with SFDC Data Loader, Microsoft Office.
Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set
Strong business acumen skills and skills appropriate for management level communication (oral & written)
Must be capable of working with both speed and accuracy
Collaboration and the ability to work effectively with internal/external customers as well as across the entire Sales Operations team
