Since joining the business in 2012, Peter has maintained overall responsibility for all businesses across White Oak UK, including HR, Training and Strategic Business Development. Prior to his role at White Oak UK, Peter has held various senior level positions across the globe, at leading financial firms including, Kleinwort Benson Ltd, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Alleasing, an Australian-based independent RV lessor. In 2017, Peter was appointed as a Director on the board of the Leasing Foundation, helping to drive positive change in the industry.
Andy’s career in sales spans over 30 years. Since joining White Oak UK in 2002, he has held a number of management roles within the business, primarily focused on sales origination. His primary focus is to drive the success of the Group sales function and to oversee the development of new products as a means to serve an increasingly diverse customer audience. Andy is responsible for the sales functions across all offices within White Oak UK.
Having previously worked for Bank of America, Kat joined White Oak UK in 2006 as Training Manager. Since joining the business, Kat has held a number of senior positions, all of which have been predominantly focused on business improvement, including Head of Supplier and the creation of the White Oak UK Projects Team. As Director of Operations, Kat oversees MI & Data, Projects, Marketing, Facilities and Administration, with overall responsibility for Compliance, AML and Legal functions within White Oak UK.
Phil joined White Oak UK in 1998 and is the longest serving member of the Board. Phil held senior positions as Head of Sales Support and Financial Controller, before taking up his role as Director of Finance, with responsibility across White Oak UK. An ACCA-qualified accountant, Phil oversees the wider Finance Team, alongside a number of internal support teams, including Payouts, Collections and Customer Service Functions.
Chris joined White Oak UK as graduate in 1999, and during his time with the business he has held various positions within the Credit Risk function. As Director of Credit, Chris oversees the end to end credit function for the White Oak UK, including our own book lending division - through which the majority of White Oak UK's deals are processed - our external funder support teams and a team of internal underwriters.
Ray joined the business in June 2016 as Director of IT, with responsibility for the overall groupwide technology function. With over 20 years’ industry experience, Ray has held a number of senior management roles in financial services, manufacturing and oil and gas industries, with a focus on the delivery of industrial strength solutions. Ray has overall responsibility for IT infrastructure, development, quality assurance and Data and MI functions for White Oak UK.
Allan has been in the financial services industry for almost 40 years, holding positions across the finance industry, from RBS and Nationwide, to Barclays Mercantile. He has specialist experience within the direct SME, vendor and agricultural markets, using this experience to form First Independent Finance in 1999. In 2015, Allan became a Director when First Independent Finance were acquired by LDF Group, later to become White Oak UK.
We could not have been happier. Banks as usual were a nightmare - they took over six weeks to eventually refuse for vague reasons unexplained. White Oak UK were professional, helpful, friendly, and best of all, fast.
